Most of us can agree 2020 was not a very pleasant year. But as the year draws to a close and the holiday season continues, it’s time to look toward 2021 with hopes for a better future. In the meantime, we should all take a moment to enjoy our time off with loved ones and reflect back on how the year went, not just for the world overall, but for us personally. Going Back to School In-Person
If you’re considering sending your child back to school in person after the holiday season, it’s best to know what to expect. Whether your child needs a vaccination or yearly physical exam, contact PHC to keep your kids in good hands.
COVID-19 Testing
There are many accurate forms of testing for coronavirus at PHC. The most accurate results come from the free PCR test with a 3-4 day wait. The rapid test lasts 15 minutes and requires an insurance card–please call us for more information. Finally, the antibody test gives results in less than a minute and can diagnose previous exposure.
Telemedicine Appointments
This year, we also added telemedicine appointments. The center can arrange for telemedicine by phone. People who need counseling or who wish to speak to a doctor can schedule an appointment and a time to do this. This is for people who have sheltered in place and who do not want to come into the clinic due to COVID-19.
Conclusion
2020 was a mixed bag for all of us. However, the best thing to do as the year comes to a close is to look forward to the future and commit to making things better. In the meantime, enjoy the holiday season with your loved ones.
