Hola! My name is Paola Gonzalez Fusilier.

I am a trauma therapist with years of experience working with children, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. I work with little clients as young as 2 years old, parents, adults of any age, and families.

My experience at various nonprofits and private practice settings has allowed me to serve clients from all walks of life. Many of my clients have experienced intimate partner or family violence, sexual violence and abuse, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, family dynamics issues, depression, anxiety, foster care & adoption, educational issues, racial trauma, immigration and acculturation issues, grief and loss, ADHD, and other psychiatric disorders. I have worked collaboratively with support systems, psychiatrists, hospitals, teachers and school officials.

I am a LGBTQ+ ally. I am inclusive of all religions. I have a deep respect for my clients and find the therapeutic journey one of the most sacred experiences.

I believe in the therapeutic power of play and see play as a child’s language with which they process life’s struggles. I am passionate about adoption, foster care, and serving children from hard places.

I am a first-generation Mexican American, a child of immigrant parents, and have a deep understanding of cultural identity. My passion to help others began as a young girl and I believe it is God’s calling on my life. It is my honor and privilege to be part of my client’s healing journey!

Andrea Arjon

My name is Andrea Arjon and I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (License#73800) in the state of Texas. My experience includes helping clients who have struggled with issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, shame, grief and loss, relationship issues, and post-traumatic stress. Additionally, I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained therapist and I have worked extensively with clients who have experienced a wide variety of trauma.

My goal as a therapist is to help you find meaning and healing through a deep exploration of what makes you YOU. I believe in holding a safe space that welcomes all parts of you and integrates the multiple identities and values you hold. Alyssa received her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas – Brownsville and her Master’s degree in School Counseling at Lamar University in 2017. She also earned a Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Alyssa is a LPC-Graduate Intern under the supervision of Paola Fusilier, MA, LPC, RPT.

A few areas of clinical interest include anxiety, self-esteem, work-life balance, relationship and family challenges, and other life experiences.

Alyssa’s personal interests include spending time with her family and dog, reading, traveling, and going to concerts.

Hello, my name is Jennifer Plunkett.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with ten years of experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds as a teacher and school counselor. My experience includes working with children and teenagers with a wide range of needs, including those with disabilities. I was born and raised in Pasadena, and I take pride in being able to give back to the community I grew up in. I received my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from University of Houston Clear Lake, master’s degree in School Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler, and certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. As an LPC-A, I work under the supervision of Dr. Cynthia Coronado, LPC-S.

I am trained in many counseling modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and talk therapy. I specialize in both holistic and evidenced-based approaches where I enjoy working collaboratively with children, parents, teachers, doctors, and schools to help my clients achieve their treatment goals.

David S. López

David S. López attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he attained both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science Degree in Health Care Administration. He is a respected leader with extensive experience and is also a Fellow (FACHE) in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Throughout his career, he has held various key leadership (Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer) positions in large well recognized public hospital systems throughout the State of Texas.

His personal philosophy is that his work on behalf of patients is “ministry” oriented and considers it an honor and a privilege to be of service to those in need. Managerially, he is committed to continually improve the quality of care provided as the preferred approach towards maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, he strongly believes that healthcare organizations must develop and implement programs that emphasize primary care, prevention and wellness as strategic initiatives for improving the health status of their respective communities.

Diane Thompson

Chief Operating Officer
Diane Thompson has over 45 years of experience in the health care industry. She joined PHC in 2006, and is responsible for information technology, human resources, and accounts payable for the organization. Prior to joining PHC, she worked as the Business Office Manager at the Lone Star Family Health Center, an FQHC, where she was responsible for the implementation of an electronic health record and practice management system. She also worked as the Area Practice Manager for HCA Physicians Services and as an Office Manager for a private physician’s office. Ms. Thompson studied Human Resource Management at San Jacinto College and through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

She is a certified Practice Manager and led PHC’s implementation team for Dentrix (Dental Software), Sevocity (Electric Medical Records), MSI Medical Systems, Inc. (Practice Management Software), and Updox (Telehealth Software) and most recently Sevocity PM (Practice Management Software).

Ana G. Ruiz Allison, MD

Medical Director
Dr. Allison has 31 years experience working as a doctor and 23 in Texas. Her specialty is Internal Medicine, with an emphasis on Endocrinology and Diabetes Management. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, San Juan Puerto Rico. She completed her fellowship in Internal Medicine in Puerto Rico as well. She has had research published in the Journal of Oncology. She speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys spending time with her patients and helping them with their medical needs.

Carlos Bernal, MD

Family Medicine
Dr. Bernal is a family practice doctor who graduated from medical school at UTMB in Galveston. He has over 30 years of medical experience and has also served in the military. He has worked in various clinics throughout Texas and came to PHC from Good Shepard Medical Clinic in Marshall, Texas. He is currently helping PHC to establish a Saturday Clinic.

Dr. Harlan Wichelhaus

OB/GYN
Dr. Wichelhaus specializes in OB/GYN services. He attended Bowman Gray School Of Medicine (Wake Forest University) in 1981. He has served in the United States Air Force and completed an internship at Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center in OB/GYN. He has over 31 years of medical experience and currently maintains a private practice in addition to his work at PHC.

Dr. John is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Dr. John worked in private practice before coming to PHC and has been rated by patients as an excellent dentist.

Danny Edwards

Licensed Professional Counselor
Mr. Edwards graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor. He currently works full time in private practice in Alvin and part time for the clinic. He works with both children and adults and can counsel on many issues including chemical dependency, attention deficit disorder, depression, and marriage counseling.

Daniela Arnao, M.A., M.Ed,

LPC-Associate
Daniela Arnao is a Teachers College at Columbia University Graduate. She completed a Masters in Education and Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling with a concentration in Bilingual Latino/a Mental Health.

Daniela was born and raised in Houston, Texas, is a first-generation American, and is fluent in Spanish and English. She is now a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-Associate) working towards full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. As an LPC-Associate she is under the supervision of Catalina Prebisch, LPC-Supervisor.

Before becoming an LPC-Associate, Daniela worked as a teacher in a middle school and subsequently taught English abroad to young adults. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with various concerns, such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and conduct-related disorders. She completed her practicum internships at The Child Center of NY and LSA Family Health Services during her time in graduate school. During these internships she had the opportunity to use a variety of modalities including, Play Therapy, CBT, Parenting Skills, Art Therapy Techniques, and Social Emotional Learning Skills for children.

Daniela is passionate about providing a safe space for individuals with diverse racial, cultural, and gender identities and committed to using evidenced-based and holistic approaches to help clients. She is interested in treating English and Spanish-speaking individuals working through trauma, depression, anxiety, and life changes.

Guillermo Rowe, MD

OB/GYN
Dr. Guillermo Rowe is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 40 years’ experience. He specializes in Gynecology, Obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, Endometriosis, Infertility, Menopause, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Colposcopy and LEEP procedures.

He received post-graduate training in Gynecology Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his internship at Baylor College of Medicine and Ben Taub Hospital. He was also Resident of Obstetric and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Rowe was a fellow of the Galloway Fellowship at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center focusing on Gynecology Oncology.

He has previously practiced at Women’s Health Care and Research and The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, where he was a founding member. He was the Gynecology Hospitalist and Complex Surgeon in the Emergency Ward at Pediatrix Medical Services, Inc. Dr. Rowe also was a partner in two private practices.

He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor for Baylor College of Medicine. He previously served as Clinical Teaching staff at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

Dr. Rowe is affiliated with the Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COMEMIG) since 2013 and has been published a groundbreaking study in Fertility and Sterility.

Radhika Gowali, DDS

Dr. Radhika Gowali is a proud graduate of University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.

As a general dentist, Dr. Gowali excels at procedures including scaling and root planing, sealants, fillings, pediatric crowns and pulpotomies, crowns, extractions, dentures, etc . She especially loves to establish a dental home for patients so they can have the best and most consistent dental oral hygiene and education.

Dr. Gowali is also certified in providing sedation in office for the utmost comfort during dental procedures.

In her personal time, Dr. Gowali volunteers her time at the local animal shelter and food bank. She also loves trying out different cuisines while she is traveling and has recently started running in local races like the Houston Half Marathon.

Ashley Cis

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Ashley Cis, FNP-C, FNP-BC, graduated with Masters of Science in Nursing (FNP) from University of Texas at Arlington in 2021. Ashley also attended nursing school at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. She attended Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Minor in Dance in 2007. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has a strong background in critical care nursing and pre/post-surgical nursing.

Ashley has over 10 years of experience in the health industry and brings a positive and energetic attitude to her position. Ashley has a deep love for movement and is currently getting her certification in Pilates. Her other interest includes spending time with her family, traveling, running, exercising, volunteering for her church and within her active associations and community. She brings a whole-person care approach to all her patients and wants to ensure they always leave feeling like they were cared for.

Dr. Malladi S. Reddy Cis

Dr. Malladi S. Reddy, MD, PhD, FACC, PA is a vascular medicine specialist in Nassau Bay, TX specializing in vascular medicine (blood vessel disease) and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. His areas of expertise consist of heart problems and preventive cardiology. He graduated from Osmania Medical College in 1969 and has 54 years of experience.
