6 Ways PHC Can Provide Help for Those Affected by Harvey
Do you have a need or know someone with a need? We have medical, dental, counseling, OB/GYN and many more services available to help. Don’t let financial constraints keep you from coming in. We are offering free and discounted services to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey through the end of October and are connected to many other resources in our community. Here are a few services we have in place to provide help for those affected by Harvey:
1) Free Flu Shots
Help us keep the flu from spreading throughout the community by coming in for your free flu shot, while supplies last.
2) Diabetic Medications and Supplies
Need supplies or medication refills for diabetes management? Call us to make an appointment and receive free medication and supplies. Medication must be prescribed.
3) Discounted OB/GYN Care
Pregnant? Or think you might be?
Make an appointment with our OB/GYN and receive the following discounted services:
- Ultrasounds, $20 (must be ordered by our OB/GYN)
- Pregnancy blood test and office visit, $45
4) Free Counseling
Dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster isn’t easy. If you or someone you know needs to speak with a counselor, call us to make an appointment. Free counseling – 30 minute sessions – are currently being offered on Mondays by appointment.
5) Free Tetanus Vaccines
After a disaster, tetanus can best be minimized by following standard immunization recommendations. If you were affected by Hurricane Harvey, you can receive your vaccine for free.
6) Dental Care
A free oral screening and toothbrush is currently being offered to those affected by Harvey. Call us at 713-554-0510 to make an appointment or come on in – walk-ins welcome.
Transportation Provided
At PHC, we want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to receive the medical and dental care they need. If you currently don’t have transportation, call us and we can pick you up!
